Missing My Wife Like Crazy
It’s been a long while since I added a new post. It’s not intentional folks. I just really don’t have much time, because I’m working the night-shift now, and since my shift starts at 9 pm you can just imagine how I still manage my time.
I used to work the 10 pm shift and with that I can still see my wife before I go to work. Although it’s really a crunch, because she almost always gets home around 7:30 pm. So I get to see her about 30 minutes before I myself would go out and go to work.
But since I got transferred to the 9 pm shift. I haven’t seen my wife for the last few days. I have to leave at least by 7 pm, if I don’t want to be late. I get off work at 6 am and by the time I get home she already left.
What a bummer.
I miss her so much, that I tend to wake up earlier than usual so that I can call her at the office before she left the place. At least I get to talk to her, right?
But still it’s not the same. I miss her sweet smile, those lovely eyes and stature. Oh, how I long to go back to the 10 pm shift! Or better yet to the morning shift. But still……. a job is a job, and one must make sacrifices.
Sacrifices is always part of life. Specially if you work in a call center. So if you plan to work in the industry, better be prepared to miss your love ones. It’s part of the job, and only a few people can manage it. Specially for the rookies, the people who’s working in the industry for the first time. It’s really very hard for them. Wait ’till the holidays…….
Thank GOD for Vacation leaves. I’m fortunate to work in a company that promotes Work-life balance. As long you as you have Vacation time, and you file it early enough, then no one can say you can’t take a vacation. I’ve seen my friends in 24/7 take 2 week leaves all in one go.
And to my wife. I miss you so much Theart! I love you!
