Gloomy Day Ahead! It’s Raining!
A very gloomy day.
That’s how I can describe my day. Why? Well, because it’s raining cats and dogs again. Of course there are times when I cherish heavy rains!
I think I was still in College.
I remember when I was still going to school; I would pray for rain so hard that Department of Education will cancel classes. I think all students, even today do that. Especially when there’s a quiz and you know that your not prepared.
But I’m proud to say that I never, ever skip classes. Prepared or not, I’ll attend.
But it’s diffrent now. When your working, you know that rains can just ruin your day. If your on the go and rushing to an appointment, the rain can make you late. Or make you late reporting for work. The worst of all heavy rains can bring floods. But I live in Malabon.
Floods are a natural occurrence here. I mean, even if there’s no rain, there will still be floods because of the rising tide. Whenever there’s a typhoon, I would dread watching the news because Malabon will surely be featured!
But of course, rain does bring some good in the environment. it’s the way nature cleanses itself. Ever noticed that smog dissapears when it’s raining? The plants are watered and the cracked dirt is revitalized.
I just wish, that it doesn’t rain whenever I got the car washed! Now that will really make my day.
