HANCOCK: Will Smith’s Worst Film of the Year?

I love movies! I love them so much that it has become customary for me to watch as many movies as I can. When I was still in college. A mall was just about six blocks from where my University is located, so I watch a movie everyday. But now that I have a family and all, I at least try to watch 2 movies a month. So you can imagine how I choose the movies that I watch because it’s expensive nowadays and I want to get my money’s worth.

Unfortunately Will Smith’s latest Fourth of July Weekend movie, just didn’t make the cut. I honestly would like to go back to the ticket counter and ask for a refund of the amusement tax, The movie is about a superhero that’s always causing more damage than the criminals because he’s too careless of his powers and he’s always drunk. That’s it. Predictably the film will show how he “change his ways”, but the story is weak compare to other movies that Smith has starred in. And here’s a fact, without the great special effects you would think it’s done and produced by a senator in the Philippines who claimed that the special effects of his movie “Exodus” is better than “Lord of the Rings” ( I swear this is true!):( . The only good thing in the movie is that Charlize Theron the south African beauty was in the film. That’s the only consolation that I got.

There are times that you wish you could go back and change somethings in the past. Watching Hancock is definitely one of those things that qualify.
