The Worst Dining Experience Ever!

Last Sunday was Father’s day. Since we rarely go out on weekends my wife and I decided to go to Trinoma Mall in Quezon city. When we go out it’s always Mall of Asia because it’s near our place of work. We rarely go to Trinoma because it’s always crowded. Parking was very hard to find that day because of the occasion and it’s also a weekend so you can just imagine. I was able to get a space after an hour of searching on the top floor of the parking building. Since it’s was already lunch time we decided to eat first all restaurants are full and my son’s already complaining. So we tried to find a restaurant with room to spare. We found one alright! “Andok’s” so the Lechon manok pioneer has a restaurant already. We decided to try it out because their chicken is always tasty and I love their Inihaw na Liempo. There was not a customer in sight so we grabbed the nearest booth and my wife approached the counter to order. Disappointingly they don’t have any item in their menu that comes with soup. So I reluctantly left and went upstairs to “Chicken Bacolod Inasal” to get some hot delicious “Batchoy” to compliment our meal in Andok’s. It took about 15 minutes for the soup to arrive and by that time It arrived I was worried that my wife and son wasn’t able to wait for me because it took me some time to return. When I arrive the table’s clean and the place was already packed. Most customers eating their hearts content. My wife told me that the food that we ordered hasn’t arrived yet. So I went back to the counter and asked the lady about our food she cried “Ay! Yung order nila sir kanina pa yun!” in the direction of the kitchen. No apologies no nothing. I said “Grabe naman kayo. Dumating kami dito wala pang tao, di nyo na aayos?” the the lady just stared at me like I’m some nut that has no right to complain. Still no apologies. When the food arrived me and my wife tried to eat but it’s obvious that she has lost her appetite as well. We called a waiter and asked for their manager, and waited for nothing. No body approached us and said “I’m sorry our manager’s not available at the moment.” We just wait and wait until I can’t bear it anymore I walked out of the place with my son. My wife didn’t walked out she stand and approached the counter and complained. Still no apologies. So we have decided never to eat nor recommend that hell hole of a restaurant anymore. Bad Service with a capital B folks! Don’t waste your time eating there. It’s Andok’s Lechon Manok Restaurant at the ground floor of Trinoma Mall right beside North Park. Andok’s should have stayed in the chicken carry out business, clearly they’re not yet ready for a restaurant. They still need more training.
